Samsung Electro-Mechanics Hosts '2026 Win-Win Cooperation Day'

Samsung Electro-Mechanics hosted the '2026 Win-Win Cooperation Day' at the Ramada Plaza Suwon Hotel on the 28th, inviting representatives from its key partner companies.

 

This event was prepared to encourage partners that achieved innovative results over the past year and to strengthen the will for mutual growth based on solid trust. Approximately 200 officials, including President Chang Duckhyun, Dal-gon Lee (Chairman of the Shared Growth Committee), and Hyeok-seok Kwon (Vice Chairman of the Partners Association and CEO of MK Chem & Tech), attended the event.

First, there was an award ceremony for five partners that achieved excellent results through innovation activities in four categories last year: △Productivity, △Technology Development, △Quality, and △Special.

 

Woosung SE, which supplies MLCC equipment, received the Excellence Award in the Productivity Innovation category in recognition of its achievements in shortening equipment manufacturing and setup schedules. Jeongjin Nextech, which supplies components related to camera modules, was recognized for its performance in introducing new processes. Abico Tech, which performs package substrate lamination, was recognized for its performance in improving stacking process quality, respectively, receiving the Excellence Award in the Quality Innovation category.

 

Cosmo Advanced Materials, which supplies films for MLCCs, received the Excellence Award in the Technology Development category for its yield improvement through the development of films for AI servers. Resonac, which supplies raw materials for package substrates, received a Special Award in recognition of its achievements in strategic securing and supply of CCL and other materials.

 

In addition, Samsung Electro-Mechanics introduced its win-win cooperation support programs to enhance the practical competitiveness of partners, such as fund support, ESG management consulting, technology protection, and specialized training. From this year, it is supporting partners to have practical product and technology competitiveness by sharing its patents with them.

At the event, President Chang Duckhyun said, “The high growth of the AI industry and the advancement of autonomous driving systems, which Samsung Electro-Mechanics is concentrating on, will be opportunity factors,” and added, “Let all partners work together to create competitive products with differentiated core technologies.”

 

Meanwhile, the first-ever product and technology exhibition for partners was held this year, drawing attention. This exhibition was a place for technological exchange to share the latest technology trends among partners and explore opportunities for technical cooperation. Samsung Electro-Mechanics plans to support the development of domestic and international sales channels so that the excellent technologies on display can lead to actual commercialization.

 

Dal-gon Lee, Chairman of the Shared Growth Committee, said, “To overcome the uncertain business environment, it is important to produce the best products through cooperation between large corporations and small and medium-sized enterprises,” and added, “We will continue to support mutual growth based on cooperation.” Hyeok-seok Kwon, Vice Chairman of the Partners Association of MK Chem & Tech, emphasized the importance of win-win cooperation, saying, “If Samsung Electro-Mechanics and its partners work together, we can grow in any crisis,” and “I hope this serves as an opportunity for everyone to become one and take a leap forward.”

Samsung Electro-Mechanics is currently trading with about 900 domestic and international partners, ranging from companies with annual sales of 1 billion KRW to 10 trillion KRW. Since last year, it has signed the ‘Partner Company Ecosystem Strengthening Agreement’ with the Shared Growth Committee and partners, and is operating a program to support about 200 billion KRW over three years until 2027, including △ fund support such as win-win funds, △ field improvement such as productivity improvement and quality innovation, and △ improvement of specialized technology and customized capacity by level. Samsung Electro-Mechanics was also awarded the ‘Highest’ grade in the ‘Shared Growth Index’ for two consecutive years in recognition of such win-win cooperation achievements.
